FUNAG and IPRI hold the lecture “Brexit and its implications: a view from Ireland”
The Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG) and its International Relations Research Institute (IPRI) held on May 7, at Itamaraty, the lecture-debate of the series International Dialogues “Brexit and its implications: a view from Ireland”, with Denis Staunton, editor of “The Irish Times” in London.
The lecturer discoursed about the issue of the United Kingdom’s withdrawal from the European Union and its implications for the neighborhood, particularly for Ireland, as well as for the whole world.
Participated in the table, Ireland’s ambassador, Brian Glynn along with FUNAG’s president, ambassador Sérgio E. Moreira Lima, and IPRI’s coordinator, counselor Marco Túlio Cabral.
Diplomats, authorities and students also took part in the event.
