V Foreign Relations Conference (CORE)
Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG), in partnership with the University of Amazonia (UNAMA) will hold the V Foreign Relations Conference (CORE), from 9 to 11 November 2016, in Auditorium A of UNAMA’s Ananindeua Campus, in the metropolitan region of Belem, state of Pará. To participate, access the registrations page on FUNAG’s website. There will be a limited 380 seats available. The event will be broadcasted live on the Foundation’s website.
CORE offers a space for reflection and interaction with academia on Brazil's foreign policy and diplomatic thought. In 2016, its focus will be on understanding the trends in the evolution of power in the international scene, as well as on global and regional challenges and opportunities, particularly in the Amazon.
This year, the event celebrates 45 years of Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation, the most important government-affiliated think tank in Brazil in the field of international relations and a leading institution in the publishing of books on international politics, Brazilian foreign policy, and Brazilian diplomatic history.
