FUNAG releases the third volume of the English version of the book "Brazilian Diplomatic Thought - Policymakers and Agents of Foreign Policy (1750-1964)”
The Alexandre de Gusmão Foundation (FUNAG) has published the third volume of the English translation "Brazilian Diplomatic Thought - Policymakers and Agents of Foreign Policy (1750-1964)", in the “História Diplomática” collection.
The series discusses the founding concepts and main characters of the Brazilian diplomatic thought since Alexandre de Gusmão, through the periods of the Brazilian Empire and Republic, up until the beginning of the 1960’s, covering a broad period of modernization of national diplomacy. The book is a narrative of the construction of Brazil and the role played by its diplomats and statesmen, being fundamental to the broadening of the knowledge of international relations and Brazilian foreign policy.
