FUNAG’s President receives Director of the Moroccan Institute for Hispanic-Lusophone Studies
On 21 November, the President of FUNAG, Ambassador Sérgio Eduardo Moreira Lima, accompanied by the Director of the Institute for Research on International Relations (IPRI), Minister Paulo Roberto Almeida, received Professor Fatiha Benlabbah, Director of the Moroccan Institute for Hispanic-Lusophone Studies (IEHL) of the Mohammed V University in Rabat (UM5), in Morocco. On the occasion, IEHL-UM5 and FUNAG signed a cooperation agreement aiming at cooperation between the institutions in the areas of research, diffusion of knowledge, and publication of works through projects regarding relations between Morocco and Brazil, and the elaboration of a publication on the subject. The agreement also envisages participation in research programs with other university institutions and centers in both countries – amongst those, IPRI itself and CHDD (Center for History and Diplomatic Documentation) – as well as the organization of joint academic activities (papers, conferences, symposiums, workshops, panels, etc.) with third parties.
